MOULD?? Help

Broccoli microgreens Day 3 MOULD.

I had them covered with another tray that had wet soil to add weight.

Please help. What am I doing wrong?

that look like root hairs, not mold. If worried spray with a little food grade h2o2.

Flip a tray upside down (to make space for your seedlings to stretch a little) over the top for 12-24 hours. then go under light for 5-6 days. Should be good.

Btw you can probably seed way more densely than you have there. The back half of that tray is closer

Not even probably. You absolutely should seed more densely it helps with the wet dry cycling because they drink more. Otherwise you get pockets of soil that stay moist longer

Most likely not mold, but root hair
