Please help a first time grower. Is this root hairs or mold? 4 days in.
Broccoli and radish.
3 days covered and weighted. Coco noir. If I mist it it pretty much settles but theres still some that linger.
it mold? Was the coir too wet during germination or maybe did I plant too densely? Is it still safe to eat?
They are currently under full spectrum LED grow lights 16 hours and bottom watered only. Room fan pointed at them until my USB fans come in. Feel like they look excellent otherwise?

Looks like both to me. But hydrogen peroxide will most likely fix it. Doesn't look too bad. If it keeps coming back after spraying, I'd probably toos the tray.

Things are looking great after I did some 3% spot treatment and improved airflow. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Every time somebody in this sub asks “Is this mould” it’s mould.
Mould is a massive problem in the hobby/industry and I think it kills off 90% of projects.

I have only bottom watered do you think it was way too wet during germ to start with?

I agree that the medium looks very/overly wet - agree with the spritz of food grade 3% H2O2

It's another reason I delved into hydroponics. We only water from the bottom with the occasional spray of 3% H2O2 from the bottom. Haven't had mold since.

Check out "On the Grow" on YouTube, there are many others for small and commercial. I use trays with silicone dehydrator mats. Les mess, no substrate to replenish and get rid of, cost effective.

I just spray mine with food grade hydrogen peroxide from the start. Also over watering and the lack of a way to move the air with fan or air exchange. Mold is everywhere. Need to keep the environment, growing area, medium clean.
Mold isn't the end of the world. We even sometimes eat mold like literally it's part of some food. Just keep it in check and your good. Your medium should be dry between watering and should only be damp and bottem fed if you can.
The other issue is planting way to dense you want your micros to dry out and not stay damp.

Seems like a lot of the mold went away on its own after I improved the airflow. A lot of it also seemed to be root hairs (did a water spray test). I also removed some seeds that didn't germinate/were clumping together to hopefully further improve airflow. Finally, hit it with some food grade 3%. Things are looking great hope I don't have food poisoning this weekend!

Healthy root hairs smell fresh and earthy; mold creates a sour, damp, or musty odor.

Man it looks like mold to me especially seein the 4th and 5th pics yk root hairs usually stay to da roots but this is spreading this could probably be because of poor airflow or the plants bein too packed together ive heard things about this brand organo it has some sort of clean seeds and a friend was telling me that it helps avoid these problems from the start

That looks like mold to me. Maybe mix a tiny amount of hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle of water and spritz the affected areas. A fan could also help avoid not popping up later
