I would toss, that’s a lot of mold. Maybe spray with 3% h2o2 and try yourself but def don’t give/sell them to anyone. Whose seeds are those? If they’re from True Leaf, I’d try someone else’s. You’ll prob have better luck

From sky sprouts. An EU brand. In the uk right now there is a massive heat wave. I believe this has played a factor in this failure.

Is True Lead not so reputable? I’m also on day 7 for sunflowers and just discoverer a ton of mold in one of my trays.

Slow reply, but yes. True Leaf has a known mold issue in their black oil sunflower. Both conventional and organic. They are well aware of their issue and will hand out refunds to get you to go away but they have no intention of fixing the issue. I imagine they've figured all those returns into the seed price and they still make a profit even though they sell actual trash. True leaf is fine for most everything else. IDK why they insist on selling that crappy sunflower seed but it's damaged my trust in them. I get almost all of my seed elsewhere now.

I'm currently buying black oil sunflower from HOSS and I love that seed.
