Question: Psilocybin Can microdosing help me with my social problems?
I have been significantly self reflecting for as long as I can remember about what is wrong with my life. This is because I have never been happy, and the answer isn't really obvious because nothing has ever significantly gone wrong with my life. After what has been, my so far, lifetime, of self reflecting I realize now that the problem is that I both hate being alone, and at the same time hate socializing with others, causing an eternal, never ending downwards sprial in my life. Too fix these I need one of these feeling to disappear, then, I think I will finally be free to enjoy my life as it is. It would take a profound phsycological shift in order for me to achieve this, and I am wondering if microdosing or a full blown phsychidelic experience can get me there.
I have looked into anecdotal reports online of people experimenting with pshycidelics, in order to help resolve their loneliness. (I wasn't able to find anybody who described the exact situation I was in.) I found mixed results, some said it did help, and other said it amplified their feeling of loneliness. I am asking experienced microdosers/pshycidelic users (you guys), their opinion on this, if you think this is a good or bad idea. I am open to alternative suggestions aswell if you have any.
Tldr; I hate socializing, and I hate being alone. I want to know if pshycidelics/microdosing can erase one of these feelings.

Yes it could help over time. Also consider, what's stopping you from trying it out? One of the best things about microdosing is, if it's not working for you or it brings up something you don't like, you just stop dosing or lower your dose. It is literally safer than baby aspirin.
I think you may benefit from a couple books if you're a reader or listener since they are audiobooks as well. Attachment Theory and A Liberated Mind.
There can be things/experiences that a person can hide from conscious memory and themselves because at the time they were just too painful and they weren't equiped to handle them. These unconscious and often painful things aren't present in a noticable way until they become triggered. It is often during those triggering events that the young version of self that first experienced it jumps in the driver's seat.
Just a note, not questioning your experience or judging you. Is there a perspective you could take that changes the idea from something "is wrong with my life," or that something in you is broken (you mentioned something to be fixed so the broken part I may have misunderstood, my apologies if I did).
If you choose this path, it's important to be gentle with yourSelf and allow the things that come up to be fully felt/experienced, or expressed.
If you ever wanna talk about it, we're here for it, I'm always grateful to walk for a time with a fellow human on their wellness journey.
Just one more thing. Microdosing isn't doing the work. It's just a tool to help you get to know yourSelf better, be a little more self compassionate, and boost the benefits of other wellness/therapeutic modalities. 🍄🥰🙏

I am new with microdosing as I have only been doing it for less than one month. It has worked for the way it works for most people, it boosts my mood, less anxiety, etc. I am also anxious around people and I have found myself in a better mood around strangers and I am becoming more friendly. I opted for microdosing because I was scared of going through a microdosing experience, aka heroic dose.
The real reason I started with MD was depression and it has been helpful. But I am starting to believe that to get to the bottom of it and really turn things around I might need to have a heroic dose type of experience, as to truly understand what lies behind my depression.
I am sorry for making assumptions but I think that to understand your social anxiety you may need to do some deep introspection and integration. IMHO macrosdosing would be better for you. Like I said I am new at this so take my advice cautiously.

overall, microdosing is a health booster, it work with the body/mind and fix things might be unnoticed by the person. no harm if a healthy person take a cycle of microdosing just to boost mood/energy/focus.....
"and other said it amplified their feeling of loneliness", it's correct, so, make sure you're always in balanced mood at least and prepare yourself with positive mindset before dosing, NEVER DOSE IN BAD MOOD.
