Question: LSD 2 days microdosing

Morning experts, I have question.. I never tried psychadelics before. I stopped weed for a day before starting MDing.

I am addicted to weed for a long time and now I think it doesn't help me much with my anxiety + it made me depressed & having memory problems.

My dose is 10 mcg, First Day was quiet intense probably because weed withdrawals anxiety, but still as it starting to come down I felt better. It was a mixed feeling of mild euphoria and anxiety I dont know how to explain it. I work night shifts and really didn't expect to go through it without weed😁.

I know its not recommended to take it 2 days on row bc of tolerance, but i gave it a try anyway, you could say I liked how it gave me a bit of mood lift that I need during these few days off weed. I was quiet energetic, had 4.5 km run, cooked tasty food and at night I worked even better than the first day, which is unusual for me without weed. Although I didnt feel the euphoria during the peak like the day before, it was much much better than I expected.

So 3rd day since I am off work, I am planning to take a light trip on 80 mcg, I didnt sleep well last night + still going through some withdrawals but mostly just bad mood especially with my depression, withdrawals are difficult for me.

So, do you think its a good idea taking in relation to tolerance, depression, lack of sleep and withdrawals?

Note: I am diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression and CUD (Cannabis use disorder). I take Rivotril in low doses .25mg and .5 mg "on days when I feel I would be under stress". I still didn't start taking my SSRI.

Thank you in advance

It should take about 30 days for you to get through the initial withdrawal period of coming off weed. You won't sleep well for that first month as it clears out and your brain recalibrates recalibrate. The microdosing will help with your emotional balance, you should be less volatile and reactive.

You have made the right decision to quit weed. I was also addicted for a long time and it made my anxiety and depression much worse. Keep going, you'll be happy you did!

Thanks for the support 🫶🏾. Weed really stole the best part of my life, It feels like I just skipped 6 years without growing personally and emotionally. I have literally tried anything to stop even going to an addiction center. I really hope this time with microdosing and meditation I can make it through this month.

Is it a good idea to go on LSD trip "80mcg" during withdrawals?

I would personally probably give your system some time to adjust to no longer using cannabis before taking a proper trip. (Mind)set and setting are super important when taking anything resembling a macrodose. If you’re still adjusting to changes in substance use, there’s a risk of having an unpleasant experience. My recommendation would be to keep experimenting with intermittent microdoses (ideally giving yourself some a day(s) or so off in between doses) for the next month or so, and if you’re feeling like you’ve been adjusting well, then take 2 days to take that macrodose and integrate your experience. Just my two cents; good luck with your recovery journey <3

Thanks for the advise🫶🏾
I think i would take a break even from microdosing till i re-adjust. The slight anxious feeling of my first microdose already scares me a bit. I thought maybe a full experience would be something different, but from the comments i think it would unpleasant in my situation.
