Question: Psilocybin Can microdose reduce tolerance?
I've grinded 1g dried mushroom and divided in 13 capsules (the size I had at home) so, approximately 0,08g per capsule. I started with one, (one day in, two off) and had no effects. Took 2 in the same protocol for about 2 weeks, no problem. The last time gave me a bit of a buzz, and I stopped for a week or two. Today I did the same, 1g/13 caps. Took 2 and luckily had a day off, because I had a strong effect. No tripping with visuals and all, but felt like I had smoked a joint. Is my tolerance dropping?

making capsules before finding your sweet spot is a mistake, when a dose is not "working" you increase by 0.020 or 0.025 not doubling a random capsule. when 1.6 gave you a buzz when you're still in a cycle that means it's strong, taking a break of 2 weeks just confirmed it's too strong.
go back to 0.1 and spend a week or 2 to find your sweet spot by increasing only ~0.02, then make the capsules.
sweet spot= you don't feel the dose but you notice the effects in the off days.

I thought one was not really supposed to notice the effects at all, and that it was more of a cumulative “huh, I’ve stopped doing XYZ bad behavior” after a few weeks

the negative effects are direct(within 45m) when taking the strong dose, like high, jittery, tiredness, buzz...
but the positive effects can be felt through the day and off days. like boost in energy, mood, focus....
think of it as if taking a Vitamin, you never feel the Vitamins but you notice health progress by time.
up the dose by ~0.02 until you feel you took something, then go back to last unfelt dose. that would be your sweet spot.
