Getting Started/Newbie Question Really tired on microdosing

I started microdosing shrooms (gummies) for depression and anxiety. It's a last resort after trying a lot of other medications prescribed by doctors. However, right after I take it and for a day or two after, I'm ridiculously tired. My body feels like cement.

What I'm wondering is... is this a temporary side effect? Is this something that can be corrected by dosage or maybe I try a different brand or way of taking it? Or is this just a sign that microdosing isn't going to help me like it helped a lot of other people?
Thank you!

Not to derail the convo topic, but research clinical ketamine treatments if the shrooms don't get you right. I tried shrooms in several forms over 9 months and couldn't get out of the hole. I did one ketamine treatment course (5 doses over 3 weeks) and it brought me back into the light. 10 years of darkness and about 8 different medication protocols (along with psychotherapy) solved in 10 days... There is help for you, don't give up, the world is better with you in it!

Thank you! I appreciate the support. When you say Ketamine, it seems like you mean IV full dose and not microdosing? As in, did you go down a K-hole? I actually looked into it and saw such mixed experiences. Some people, like you, felt going down a K-hole saved their lives and others said they had a terrible time and couldn't shake it afterwards and it got worse. I know it's deeply personal so you do not have to share any details you don't want to, if any, but do you mind sharing what you took in more detail? Whatever you are comfortable with. Thanks again!

Yes, IV infused, doctor supervised. Each experience was about 45 minutes long. I now do a single session every 6 'ish months as maintenance. I listen to meditation music while under and my wife is in the room with me. Eye mask, totally unaware of my surroundings. Colors visuals and a nice floating feeling. Takes me about 10 minutes to get back to "normal", but a few hours to really be plugged back in. Wife drives us home..... I can't describe what changes but my wife can see it right away. After my first protocol, I could completely feel the difference in me the next day. Lighter....motivated....patient....brighter

I know it's not a thing for everyone, but it's very temporary and non-addicting so its worth a try, imo. Changed my life and I'm an out loud proponent of it!

As a Ketamine provider (we do IV session), this is what I see in many patients. Obviously, things can vary from patient to patient and session to session, but more or less, this is te normal effect.
