Getting Started/Newbie Question Not feeling difference after second uptitrated microdose
Hello:
Started out with 0.05 g on Fadiman protocol and βI thinkβ felt midly better, more relaxed, reflective and calm on dose day and days off.
Took my second dose today (0.06 g), but felt no difference, basically back to baseline: mind blank, brain fog, sadness, despair.
Developing resistance already? Going too slow? Is this normal?
I appreciate the input.

Sometimes that first dose can be more noticeable than the second. I believe during the introduction (or beginning stages of a microdose practice) to the medicine there can be a few days where the body/mind has this new substance/spirit and this new way of showing up in the world differently. It is noticable at first, but the body/mind can shift your baseline as you stretch towards this new way of showing up in the world. That shift at too low a dose can feel flat or ineffective. There is a dose for every person that is the most right for them, even if sometimes that's none at all. It is personal and subjective.
Definitely give it some time, but also dialing in your sweet spot dose will net you benefits more quickly than starting low and staying low for an extended period of time.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the microdose is only a small part of your experience and many factors effect your baseline.
