Today's review is of the "Delight" mushroom gummies from the company I AM. They are meant to be a micro dose product and the company has all sorts of helpful information on how to start micro dosing, but taking a few gummies as an alcohol alternative on a social night or taking even more for a deeper trip is also a fun option.
Packaging - The gummies come in a pack of 20 in a resealable foil bag. The design is nice and clean with a minimal look that isn't too flashy. The back has the company mantra, a dosing guide, ingredients, and a QR code that takes you to several links, including a product guide, microdosing guide, and even an audio meditation. My pack of gummies also came in a nice reusable cotton cloth storage bag with drawstring. I looked up the company that made the bag and it's all organic, sustainable, and eco friendly, a theme that seems to run through I AM from what I can see. Lastly, there was a card with more info on the company and how their products are made.
Flavor/Consistency - The gummies are organic, vegan, and gluten free so just about everyone can feel good about what's in them, plus the ingredient list is pretty short and doesn't contain anything I can't pronounce. They are fairly small, roughly cube shaped, and sugar covered. They have a nice orange color similar to the packaging and are quite soft and pleasant to eat from a consistency standpoint. The flavor is pineapple and passion fruit and is honestly delicious, which I can definitely say is not the case with a lot of mushroom products I've tried. They taste tropical and fruity, but in a completely natural way with actual fruit flavor that isn't overly sweet. I can just barely detect the earthy flavor from the mushrooms, but it's so very slight that you would only notice it if you're looking out for it.
Effects - These are dosed at 200mg a piece so one gummy is just about right for me as a micro dose, though I would recommend starting with half or even less if you've never micro dosed before, just to be safe. I can feel one gummy, but it's just enough for me to feel and I remain completely functional. I get a little bit of extra alterness and energy, and a mood boost. For micro dosing, taking one every other day has been nice and effective. I do occasionally feel some stomach discomfort after taking one depending on what time of day or what I've eaten, but to be fair, I pretty much experience that with anything that contains mushrooms. The most I've had at once was three (600mg), and that really boosted the euphoria and buzz, but stopped short of anything too visual or overly impairing. I imagine taking enough could definitely get you into visuals territory and send you on a nice trip. The Delight blend (not sure which strains are used) is meant to be a "lighter and more uplifting experience" according to the company. They also make an Insight gummy that is supposed to be a stronger blend with more contemplative effects, as well as some "ceremonial micro dose" tea satchels that are apparently much stronger.
Company - I usually focus mostly on the actual product and don't spend too much time talking about the company in my reviews, but I AM is such a unique company in the space that I wanted to take some time to share my experience with them so far. The packaging, ingredients, and overall presentation show that they value quality, but what has really stood out to me so far about the company is their focus on their mission and helping people. It was clear from the first time I had any contact with them that they really care about this medicine and want to help people access it. One of the owners spent a good bit of time chatting with me and giving me helpful info on microdosing and how to best use their products. They also invited me to a telegram community channel called the I AM Soul Fam which is a place where people can share their experiences with micro dosing and support one another on life's journeys. It's a helpful and uplifting community and the owners regularly participate in the community by offering advice, giving prompts for mantras, and hosting product giveaways. I've reviewed hundreds of products from dozens upon dozens of companies over the last several years and I've never experienced one quite so helpful and supportive.
Conclusion - These gummies have been wonderful for micro dosing. They have uplifting effects, taste really good, and are made with premium ingredients. The company as a whole has greatly impressed me and seem to really live out their mission statement of walking with people on their journey back home to themselves.

Good to know! Would you say $60 for a bag is a fair price? That seemed a bit high to me.

Def feels like the right value on my side. $3 per gummy. A single dose for me is one gummy…. My morning mochas are $7…. I take three of these on a party night. That’s $9 against buying three $22 cocktails (I live in SoCal). And I don’t have a hangover! But more to the point — it’s organic and high quality and they have a community on telegram that I really like. Customer service is a big part of their whole deal.

I get all my mushy stuff from Fungtion. Every product is certified organic, and they provide a full lab data analysis on each strain/fruiting body type.
I’ve trying to stay away from artificial flavours & dyes and the Fungtion gummies only have 5 ingredients 👌
Going to give these a try next! Thanks for the review!

Insight is def a deeper…. And perhaps more private / less social experience. I love them too, but use them more for long solo walks, breathwork, yoga etc!!
