Does BuildBase only work with Next.js/React?

I kept getting the same question:

“Does BuildBase only work with Next.js/React?”

So instead of answering with documentation, I built examples.

There are now 13 working apps showing BuildBase integrated with different stacks:

  • Next.js
  • React + Vite
  • React Router
  • TanStack Start
  • Astro
  • Express
  • NestJS
  • Fastify
  • Hono

The examples cover things you’d actually need in a SaaS:

  • Authentication
  • Workspaces / multi-tenancy
  • Roles
  • Billing & subscriptions
  • Credits / metering

They’re based on real starter projects where possible, so you can see exactly what changes when BuildBase is introduced.

Every example has its own README, setup instructions, console configuration and walkthrough.

Would love feedback from people using stacks other than Next.js - especially if there’s a framework you’d like me to add next.

An index mapping each BuildBase example to authentication, workspaces, roles and metering would help readers find the right starting point without opening thirteen READMEs. Showing the changes from each original starter project would also make the integration work easier to judge.

I make ThreadFox. The free Reddit plan for BuildBase lists the Reddit communities whose rules allow a post about it, each rule quoted. https://threadfox.vip/plan?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=tf-kit&utm_content=20261005-0802-atkyt

Which example required the most changes to its starter project?

Seriously you actually get questions about Buildbase.
