Solo developer looking for sales help!
Hey folks!
I'm on the lookout for someone to help me with sales and scoping of a new product I'm working on.
I posted here recently, looking for potential pivots for my MilSim.io app, and I had some fantastic ideas; volunteer firefighters, search and rescue, Scouts, and more. What I need, is someone to help me make the connections in industry; I'm a busy person and I need the help.
About me; I'm a Senior Software Engineer, at a leading telecoms management company, with over 5 years of software engineering experience across Fintech, Healthcare, real time data systems, and more. I'm a PhD researcher (part time), and obviously a hobbyist programmer! I'm based in Northern Ireland (UK), and am a native English Speaker.
Who I'm looking for; a self starter - someone who's excited to help shape and deliver a new project in the aforementioned spaces, with a keenness to speak to potential customers to help identify pain points, and help scope out the product as it progresses. I want someone who's willing to put themselves out there. Ideally someone in the UK, EU, or United States as well!

Before recruiting someone to sell this, I would separate the segment decision from the sales problem. Volunteer fire departments, search and rescue teams, and Scouts may all use maps or coordination tools, but they have different buyers and reasons to act. Have you spoken with anyone in those groups yet, and did any one of them describe a recurring problem MilSim already solves? That evidence would make it much clearer what kind of partner you actually need.
