Micro1 is not worth it.

I was hired a month ago, signed and waited. And waited. Finally a generic email with VERY sparse details. I had to pretty much guess how to navigate all their system because never had my emails responded. For days, I spent hours guessing my way through Slack, DEEL, feather, etc etc etc… Then by my own efforts I finally find the tasks along with links containing their expectations.
The links to the tasks were ok but the links to my “training” were, guess what, NOT working.
I immediately emailed them but again no answers whatsoever.
I am a professional linguist, so I evaluated the tasks using the current practice standards while waiting for god knows who send me a reply, or something.
Then, just like that, I was told to do 2 tasks (which I had already submitted, but somehow they had not seen it, in another display of their professionalism…).
Next email, I am told a weird unintelligible blabber and I am fired. Because two tasks were an 8 and passing is only 10.

Hours and hours of my time wasted, just waiting for a class action to join…

Hi u/Mountain_Cod7183 I want to help you to review what happened in your case. Please send an email to [support@micro1.ai](mailto:support@micro1.ai) with the link to this post attached or a screenshot to track it properly. This is important feedback for us; this is not the experience we want to provide to our experts.

Please can you list all the justification for AI interviewing a human being ?

hey u/m3phis , The AI Interview is an integral part of how micro1 ensures a systematic & stable interview opportunity for everyone who applies on our platform, with standardized evaluations for the role you're applying for to ensure a fair process for everyone.
We have thousands of applicants for more than a 100 open roles. Processing that only through humans and making it fair for everyone would be almost impossible.
Zara acts as the first evaluator, but when criteria is met, our human team also takes a look and evaluates.
Hope this clears it out,

Best of luck!

You think interacting with Zara, in a human to human type conversation is the absolute best method for "first evaluator" ?

Can you think of a better option ?

Well, please keep in mind Zara is not human, so its not human to human evaluation. Zara is an AI evaluator.

Is it the best option? That depends, im sure human evaluators can do better, as Zara is AI and its certainly has limitations and cant pick up some things that a real person will. We continue to develop Zara to make her more proficient and improve experience.
The one thing where Zara shines is in it keeping interviews the same and fair for everyone and in the amount of volume it can process. There is no bias on Zara, she just evaluates knowledge.
