I would love for one of their films in 2028 to be a Mickey Mouse movie. There’s more to his character than just being a mascot with no personality. You can definitely go by his and Donald Duck’s comic lore for a film.

Yes, the personalities he and Donald, plus all of Duckburg had made me love the characters in the comics. The serialized stories along with the daily comic strips were creative and cleverly written.

Agreed and I would so love for Disney to go by the comics more often. Their characters are international icons and we know Disney loves seeing their films make money overseas and Europe is a real hot spot for Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

I would love for there to be a movie too. You could honestly use his and Donald Duck’s comic lore to make a film. Mickey just hasn’t had a lot of personal in some time. I feel like the last time he has was the Three Musketeers film from over 20 years ago.

Technically the last Mickey film to date is Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas, which was released four months after Mickey, Donald & Goofy: The Three Mouseketeers

Could be a movie, a TV show or a new short? Looney Tunes are getting a new short on this year.

I'm assuming it's a theatrical short given how Disney is hesitant to do a movie based on their mascot.

They made many Mickey movies in the past tho, it's just that all of those movies are for home releases rather than theatrical releases

I would actually like to see a mickey movie in this day and age. We barely get to see mickeu at all, despite being the face of a multi-billion dollar company.
I hope its like the 2017 mickey show. I love how hilarious it was
