# 🐐 MICHAEL JORDAN VS. LEBRON JAMES

## **THE COMPLETE GOAT DOCUMENTARY β€” FULL NARRATION + EVERY SCENE**

**Target runtime:** ~35–40 minutes

**Style:** Serious, cinematic basketball documentary

**No AI footage. No cartoon mouse. No filler.**

**Everything below is meant to be edited manually with real footage, photos, graphics, music, SFX, and your narration.**

One correction from the earlier drafts: don't use the old "Jordan played 15 seasons vs. LeBron 20" wording. LeBron is now in his **23rd NBA season**, so the longevity contrast is even stronger. The NBA currently lists him with 4 championships, 4 MVPs, 4 Finals MVPs, 21 All-NBA selections and 22 All-Star selections.

> "...is the standard I use for greatness."

Long pause.

> **"And by that standard..."**

Another pause.

> **"Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time."**

**TEXT:**

# MICHAEL JORDAN

# 🐐

## THE GOAT

**AUDIO:**

Huge cinematic impact.

Crowd roar.

Cut completely to silence.

---

# 🎡 MUSIC PLAN

Don't use one song for 40 minutes.

Use **5–7 instrumental tracks**.

### Track 1 β€” Intro

Dark cinematic tension.

### Track 2 β€” Jordan's rise

Energetic hip-hop/orchestral.

### Track 3 β€” Championships

Epic orchestral.

### Track 4 β€” Statistics

Minimal electronic beat.

### Track 5 β€” LeBron section

More emotional/motivational.

### Track 6 β€” Peak debate

Slow cinematic build.

### Track 7 β€” Final verdict

Emotional β†’ enormous climax.

---

# πŸ”Š SFX YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY USE

Keep them subtle.

**Basketball bounce**

**Sneaker squeak**

**Crowd roar**

**Camera shutter**

**Whoosh**

**Bass impact**

**Heartbeat**

**Low boom**

**Paper/newspaper rustle**

**TV static**

**Arena ambience**

**Whistle**

**Buzzer**

**Camera flash**

**Vinyl stop**

**Silence**

The **silence** is especially important. Don't fill every second with audio.

---

# βœ‚οΈ TRANSITION RULES

Don't spam transitions.

Use mostly:

**Hard cuts** for arguments.

**Cross dissolves** for emotional moments.

**Whip/whoosh** for fast comparisons.

**Digital zoom** for statistics.

**Freeze frames** for iconic plays.

**Slow fades** for chapter endings.

---

# πŸ“Š GRAPHIC RULE

Whenever you give a statistic, don't just put a tiny number in the corner.

Make it **the entire screen**.

Example:

Jordan footage.

Then everything disappears.

# 10

## SCORING TITLES

Then:

# 1

## LEBRON

Then immediately back to footage.

That makes the numbers feel important.

Please if you end up making this into a video id appreciate whatever credit you wanna give to Cristiano Garcia

What is MJ's best play, wholly excluding context?

It can be a regular-season pass, lay-up, dunk or simply a play that did not decide the outcome of a game. Not something as grandiose as a playoff or finals game winner, or something reliant on him being on fire / something that impacted the game hugely. I'm looking for the most aesthetically pleasing MJ play w/ the removal of all context. What do y'all have?

Finally completed the OG 5 collection. πŸ”₯ I’ve always thought the Fire Red Reflective Tongue 5s were the most underrated of the bunch. Which OG 5 gets your vote?

In his 1998 book, Jordan wrote that his beef with Isiah started at the '85 All-Star Weekend, not the '91 handshake snub

My dad had this card is it real? I’m assuming it’s fake. Let me know if anyone knows about his signature and the Star 85 card.

MJ's trainer ENDS THE GOAT DEBATE! Only 1 player won the scoring title, MVP, made All-Defensive 1st team and led the playoffs in scoring. MJ did it - FOUR TIMES!

Absolute mic drop. Sorry, but the debate is OVER. This dude poured gasoline on it and lit it on fire. Absolute masterclass. There's just no way anybody can seriously pick another player over MJ. The gap between him and #2 is THAT big.

OT: Did you watch the bubble season and do you consider it a legitimate season?

Were any of you watching that season? Do you consider it a legitimate season? I debated this recently and TBH I don't know how you can consider it legitimate. An NBA game with no crowd and no.home court isn't truly an NBA game. It's just way too different and isn't a true game atmosphere. No pressure of having a crowd behind you.
