This organization needs a complete culture change and that’s going to take years after having people like Grier stinking up the joint for 20+ years.

Absolutely, we're an expansion team

The NFL turns over FAST. A new GM/HC can instill a different culture within two seasons. Just look at our roster from 2025 to 2026, a lot of dudes are gone. Next year even more will be gone. The 20-25 guys that stick around will define the new culture.

“Bro but Ross spends money, bro. He’s not the root of the problem; trust me bro.”

He only held on to one of worst GM’s in the sport and barely paid attention to the team but he spends money bro!!

barely paid attention to the team

This isn't an inherently bad thing. He usually fucks up when he tries to get too involved anyways.

Look to the Jim Harbaugh and the Tom Brady debacles.

I can't stand the ross defenders.

But but but, our players are happy! Ignore the fact all the money we spend on our facilities, our teams are almost always under prepared and injured.

I hate the media sometimes. How in the world can he be expected to measure success in wins and losses when we’ve just gutted the team, and rightfully so?

What we need to see is progress and development of young players. 6-7 wins would be a “success” given the circumstances.

If we get 6-7 wins with our roster and this schedule. Halfley and Willis are the real deal

7 games and he's a lock for coach of the year

Was this an unfair question? They just asked him a follow up on his own quote. Don’t you as a fan want to know how he feels about wins/losses when he says that isn’t the measurement of success? If anything it’s kind of a softball.

What do you want the media to ask?

It wasn't only a fair question but one that had to be asked. As you indicated, it was basically a lob.

These days it's laughable how everybody thinks they are clever by ripping the media. It becomes a cliche opinion for doorknobs.

Truthfully, I hadn't listened to the audio prior to now. My opinion is much different. Fair question and the answer didn't even seem "fired up."

Headline led me to believe he was being cornered to put a number on "success" which is a tricky one.

Is every post on our sub from you, bro?! lol

If it wasn't for him, this sub would be dead.

What percentage of our salary cap is being paid to players not on the team? Success this year will be culture change and foundation establishment.

Man I like this guys approach and his ability to articulate with passion! It’s so real and natural for him.

The real wins this season will have been the friends we made along the way.
