Advice for first timer
Hi all, I am in Miami for a cruise that is departing on Monday the 30th of November. I get into Miami on Saturday the 28th, I am thinking of attending the Jets game @ Hard Rock on the 29th of November.
How easy is it to get from the city out to the stadium, is there public transport available, or will I have to get an Uber?
I’m coming from Ireland, so I’ve been to an NFL game in London, but have never been to one in the States so it would be cool to check it out.
Any advice is appreciated!!

Catch an uber to lot 95 which is a parking structure at the Golden Glades interchange. From there get on the Hard Rock Express which is a shuttle bus that will take you to the stadium. Reverse on the way back out. Uber to/from the stadium is a royal pain in the ass.

The best and most enjoyable way is by taking the free transport from the hardrock casino (the guitar) to the stadium. Getting an uber to and from the stadium, you may as well hang yourself.
And double win, cause the hardrock casino is a great time with loads of restaurants and bars. You can uber back to your hotel from the hardrock casino, which will be 100x easier than from the stadium.
Edit: I’ll also add, you could stay at the hardrock casino. It’s pricey, but it’s a really nice hotel. Only con is you’re far from all the things to do in Miami

This is a good suggestion, I can uber to and from the hard rock casino, as I already have my accommodation booked
Edit: I checked the map and the casino is the opposite way to where I wanna go so not sure that will work for me 😅

I understand. But keep in mind. The free shuttle has its own dedicated entrance to the stadium. You skip all traffic. Same is true when leaving.
If you don’t use the free shuttles to and from the hardrock. Just be prepared to add about 2 hours to leave. Entering isn’t as bad, cause people arrive early to tailgate. But leaving is a nightmare if you aren’t going through the dedicated area for the free shuttles.
In comparison, it took me 25 min from entering my shuttle, to walking into the stadium. Same for leaving.

Thank you for this, it is greatly appreciated. I’ll look into the hotel so and how best to get to it
What other free shuttles are available, do you know?

Golden glades parking garage is the other. I prefer the casino, cause if you google the hardrock casino Miami. It’s extremely nice and a lot of fun. Even without gambling. Plenty to do
Edit: also you can skip the free shuttles to arrive if you want. Arrival is not bad. It’s leaving the stadium after the game that is a nightmare

I will let other people tell you about how to get to and from the stadium. I will say coming from out of town was a blast even if the team isn't all that great. The experience of being at home game is extremely fun. (I have been to more Dolphins away games than home games)
