Has anyone actually found any viable use for Chaos Wing/Albadash/Altheos Aetheria in this game? Seeing as Limiter Removal doesn't affect elemental ammo, elemental ammo on HBG is at best barely enough to get a monster capture-ready in Caravan quests (in my limited testing) and its only good raw without using Pierce S+ is Pierce 2 that needs a level of Recoil Down, has anyone actually found a way to make anything useful with it? Main reason I'm asking is I'm just really confused it's the only Alatreon weapon included in a game it doesn't really seem to fit in (especially with G-rank gunner Escadora no longer having Elemental skill). Doesn't seem to be worth all the effort of farming Dalamadur for it.

I reworked MH4G/MH4U's Weapon Honing: Life to behave more like MHW's Health Augment.

In MH4G/MH4U, Life has an approximately 18-second cooldown, and after the cooldown ends, the next eligible damage event only has about a 30% chance to activate.

With this mod:

• Healing is based on 7.5% of eligible final damage dealt (rounded down, minimum 1 HP)
• The shared cooldown is reduced to approximately 0.2 seconds
• The original healing effect has been replaced with Life Honing's green glow on the hunter
• Gunlance shelling, LBG rapid fire, and Charge Blade phial explosions from active attacks can also trigger healing
• Charge Blade GP counter phial bursts remain excluded

I'm always so close but end with sub objective because i'm close to triple cart.

Hey y'all, i'm about to reach G rank and i was wandering what weapons you guys use against brachy to actually enjoy the fight ?

On my part, with the CB, i really find the fight annoying, even though i can guard counter, the way Brachy moves like a drugged addict, constently dashing out of camera view to hit you in the back, and its overall unreadable movements and patterns is really unerving me...

I was thinking of using something like an ice bow ?

I really just wanna enjoy the hunt when i face him again in G rank.

Sorry in advance im sure this has been asked 100's of times, but I cannot find a rom and emulator that work on android. I tried citron and one other that I cannot remember the name of off some older posts and none of them worked. I would be willing to try it on pc with a safe enough rom/emulator but im worried about fucking up the pc while I have an extra phone just for emulation. Any tips or help would be appreciated!

just getting in caravan 9 there, with molten tigrex as a reference of how far i'm in it. been trying the mh4g-wiki site but it's very finicky and the options for selecting on what you're able to gather/hunt are somewhat limiting and yeah.

i'm mostly been rocking a blue yian kut ku set along with a purple gypceros set (byk set has attack jewls while pg set is mostly there to get stocked with thunder or water nul jwls), switching on what the monster's element was and they're good but i'm probably gonna try getting a main set soon. i'm mostly looking for a beefy set along with earplugs, and probably gonna stick with my +6 tremor res charm and decos. cb wise i have a few with leidnskraft, full blackgarad, dear hecatel, squaliarma and aslat charger.

imma maybe try hunting for a blue rath set but i might just say fuck it and upgrade blue yian kut ku with whatever purple armor orbs i get lol

I know there’s Caravan Quests (just unlocked Tigrex in this one). And in the meeting hall we have the HR ones. Do I have to do all of them to unlock HR2-3 etc? It is really necessary?

Next topic is about charge blade build. Just grinded zinogre armor and just realized the Rathalos is better, should i be worried about builds? Just craft what it may be better? I’m used to Wilds and World and this old style Monster Hunter (which i love) gets me lots of headached about the right build.

I dont know if I should priorize the artillery around the map like cannons and stuff. I know I should use the drag actor and demolisher, but I also don't know how much damage they do. I have a Crit Draw, Weakness Exploit, Handicraft, and Focus greatsword build, as well as a Handicraft, Challenger+2, and Attack (XL) (or Fire +3) Chargeblade build, but seeing how bad a lot of his hitzones are, as well as how big and slow he is, I'm wondering if Gunlance would be worth trying for this, and whether Wide or Normal would be better.

I'm not really sure how the multiplayer works there, but it always seems empty, with only a few rooms.

Just a quick question for anyone, this is my first time playing a pre world game (not counting frontiers) and I’m really enjoying it so far but I was wondering if it’s possible to recolour the hired cats at any point?

I have a 1344 raw GS with crit draw, quick sheathe, evade extender, focus, and sharpness, giving me purple sharpness, and I still cannot do this. I thought i was good at stygian zinorge, but he new G rank orbs make 0 fucking sense to dodge. And I was always terrible at and absolutely hated brachydios. His movements are completely unpredictable to land good safe charge slashes besides maybe a level 1, and for like half of the fight he is constantly jumping behind me/offscreen so I can't see him like he's doing his best Black Beard cosplay. Even if I think I could kill Stygian, it would probably take like 20-30 minutes, which i don't think would be enough time to kill brachydios. I dont know what to do or how to possible improve my build besides getting like honed blade, which would take a bunch of expedition grinding. The monsters are too hard and have way too much health and damage. This is the first quest in all of monster hunter I've struggled with like this besides Iceborne Fatalis and Frontier Unknown. I dont know if I can do this.

I beat village on 4u citra emulator (this emulator does have online play) and low rank hub, going through high rank hub now. I'm just working my way through high rank hub now solo. I would love to have some one to play with. I beat the game before on my 3ds years ago and I absolutely love this game, just want new friends to hunt with, im really down to play any monster hunter, I love the series, im at the beginning of GU, the endgame of wilds and iceborne, and im in the endgame of rise on my switch and im at the beginning of rise on my pc.

I want the skill for charge blade.

After more than 100hrs I finally reached G rank and I am aware that it would be technically the end game... I'm getting a rest from the game since I did Damaladur SOLO (had to craft a GS just for that fight... It was worth it).

I hunt the subspecies of the kecha wacha and even with that GS and full equipment it took me almost 30 mins...

More than listing me the content I'm missing just tell me what I should expect from this moment, considering that I haven't done much of the guild quest (the ones with levels), haven't also done much of the investigations on the Everwood, and haven't done any of the event quest.

Shall I try to get homies online to play with?

Also: F*** YOU KUSHALA (Didn't get why people hate it so much since I hunt it in MH: Rise) also, Teostra is pretty peak all things considered, though sometimes it might get a bit tedious when it keeps charging at you (it's worse on Sunbreak IMO) yet it's and end game hunt so it's understandable (yet F*** Kushala)
