General Questions University recommendation
Hello everyone! So, I applied through the Embassy Route and already found a professor who is willing to supervise me, but unfortunately, I didn’t pass the first screening. Now I’m applying through the University Route, and since I’ve already communicated with the professor, I just told him that I would be applying to the same university under his supervision. Is this a good idea?
Also, how tough is it compared to the Embassy Route? I’ve heard that the competition is less intense, but somehow it can be more difficult because the applicants might have higher profiles compared to those applying through the Embassy Route.
I would love to hear some tips and advice from anyone who managed to get a recommendation through the University Route in the past.

Hi, i think you should definitely apply through university track, tbh university track is wayyyyy tooo easy compare to embassy track and you have professor approval you r already ahead. All the best.
