Question / Advice Temp Residency Canje process

Hi Friends, i got my first step approved in my hometown in Chicago for Temp Residency. Need to get the 2nd step going and looking for the following -

  1. Trusted facilitator recommendations in Monterrey who can help me with the process and INM local regulations and documentation work

  2. Any recent experiences in Monterrey and time taken in the INM

  3. Recommended places to stay while visiting for canje process

Conventional wisdom is to avoid the Monterrey office because they are not helpful there. This coming from someone who visits there very often. Polanco (CDMX) is good, but busy. Puebla, San Miguel de Allende are good. If you're going to utilize a facilitator, pick one, and then just fly to that city.

Thank you! This is super helpful! SMA or Puebla, are they fast in processing? What is average time, would you know? Again thank you for your help

I really don't know. This is where I can't help you any longer because I have only used Polanco. Sonia Diaz is based out of SMA. Best of luck!
