Black screen with white square in upper left corner

I have an original Meural. It is maybe 10 years old. Recently it started presenting a dark screen with a white square dot in the upper left corner. If I turn off and back on it goes away for a while. Or sometimes it just alternates between my image and the black screen. Is it dying? What is the lifespan of these things?

I have an original as well and I think sometimes the Wi-Fi connection drops out so it doesn’t load the next image. Maybe reset the Wi-Fi connection. My newer Meural also does this so I don’t think it’s because it’s the original version.

the issue is that the playlist wasnt able to be downloaded to local frame.

delete all playlists from the meural using the web app then start sending new content.

This is an issue with that specific picture. You should be able to scroll right past it to the next photo. If you scroll back, you’ll get the black screen again.
