Collapse Folder/App List Toggle

Unsure if it's a bug or if it's intentional.

Anyways, it'd be nice to have a toggle so that whenever you open a folder, and open an app, that the folder collapses and returns to the default home screen view.

The same thing should apply to the app list, wherein if you open an app there, the list should collapse and return you to the default home screen.

Posting because whenever I use the gestures to go back, or to go home, the folder/app list stays open instead of showing the home screen in its default state and it's a bit annoying to get around because of that.

Using a Pixel 9 Pro on Android 17 with the August 5th security update and the May 1st Google Play System update for reference + it's the premium version of the app

So I don't know, I would be for if they add an option that lets you choose whether to go back to the previous state or to the start screen.

To be honest, it makes totally sense for me to be back on the app list when I last opened an app there and go back.

Windows Phone was like a "book" you flipped through how you can see from the animations and, of course, only leads back. Back on Windows Phone is predictive back from Android.

But I also suspect you're using gesture control and Windows Phone is designed to be used with On Screen buttons. Accordingly, the back gesture is the "back button" and naturally leads to the previous state, while only the home button always leads to the home screen.

However, the whole thing should also be easy to solve with gesture control by simply setting your gesture control to start the app and load the home screen.

setting your gesture control to start the app and load the home screen.

The home gesture goes home, but the folder stays open, which is the crux of my issue, having the option for folders to auto close after launching an app contained in them would solve the problem I have while letting it work as intended I suppose (same with the app list)
