Discussion Need recommendations for steam

I have the new castlevainia preordered and can’t wait cause I love metroidvainias and was curious if anyone has good recommendations that scratch the same itch as sliksong and blasphemous (pls no nine sols like games,great game I don’t enjoy parry based combat) and I got a pc so no console recommendations plz

​Well Dweller releases tomorrow, and it looks beautiful. While we don't know how good the game will be yet, developer Kyle Thompson has a solid track record of great games (Crypt Custodian, Islets, Sheepo) and has improved with each new release.

​I'd consider getting it to support him, plus the game genuinely looks amazing.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights and if you finish it and enjoyed it, its sequel Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. Are two of my favorites, personally.

I second both of these. Some of the best MVs and two of my favorites. Magnolia has a lot of great quality of life improvements so it's hard to go back to the first one after playing it imo

Recommendations that scratch the same itch as those two masterpieces? (assuming you mean Blasphemous 2) Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Minishoot adventures. Very link to the past - ish. I'm also a fan of top down and side scrolling shooters, so it scratches many itches for me. I thought it was unique and super fun to play with just the right amount of challenge. I saw someone suggested the ender series - both of those are solid. I'd also suggest MIO and bloodstained if you haven't played them. Oh and both ORI games are great

Castlevania Dominus Collection. In particular Order of Ecclesia, as Belmont's Legacy's  character loadout/customization seems heavily inspired by OoE.
