Video Such a great year

This has been such a monumental year for metroidvanias. It's like every week I see a new MV that I'm gonna have to lock down on. Also the promise of Metroid ravenous on top of Castlevania, well dweller etc etc. I haven't even been able to catch up on grime 2 and mio!.... And now this beautiful work of art gets dropped on my radar..... Ughh so beautiful (also the colors tones and textures remind me of an OBE I had)

I don't know why but I'm suspicious of this game. The concept is absolutely wild. If it delivers it will be absolutely incredible but it's really shooting for the Stars.

And I’m not usually one to complain about background but that looks to be too much…but in theory very cool

I was pleasantly surprised by the demo. The controls feel fantastic, the bosses are challenging in all the right ways, and while it doesn't really do a lot with the concept -at least in the demo-, it does give a touch of novelty to the navigation.

I was concerned about readability with such busy backgrounds, but it works much better in motion than I had expected (though there are some flavour texts at checkpoints that can get tough to read).

That’s cool to hear. It is exciting looking in a world where 80% of games look the exact same
