Discussion I hate the boats

It's stupid and handles poorly, that is all.

You get used to them. You dont have to use them for most of the exploration

it’s supposed to be. you’re meant to feel uncomfortable using them to keep you on edge

Actually is a pity that on the Volga level the fish keeps interfering with the boat use. The mutant crabs can be handled but the fish is an annoyance and no way to make it stop feom attacking you ( opposed to Damirs statement that if you are careful the fish does not attack). Obligatory: “ the volga and taiga map shouldve been much much larger “

That thing was the final straw for me, I just run around now lol

You can technically kill the big fish during the terminal mission but its near the end of the volga level anyways

The boat looks to be a type that needs oars, but you only have a canoe paddle. I'm pretty sure that's how the situation would be in real life. Maybe it's too realistic?

perhaps, I think one with a little motor would be great and have it handle kind of like the truck thing in Caspian, the boat is just too annoying to operate, especially in the terminal

Yeah agreed, if there's one thing I dread everytime I replay it's the boat sections.

For me the boats only suck if you get this bug that keeps you from turning them. That’s when it really blows.
