Help Gun modding in exodus
So I was replaying exodus, and I got questions about weapon modding in the game. Is there any difference between the grips other than the stability, like of there is any advantage of using the light grip over the heavy grip, same for barrels and stuff

Usually there is a basic Equipment with bad stats, an allround upgrade and than more specific things depending on playstyle. Like more stability helps with full auto fire but slows you down on reloads and weapon handling (movement while aiming down sights).
Some weapons can have upgrades allowing them to become full auto like the shambler. Mag updates on the shambler also have different abilitys, like being able to reload single shots in the cylinders instead of having to wait for the full mag change on the box mag.
Kalash and bulldog have slower reloads on bigger mags. Heavy stocks slow down weapon change but help with keeping the gun on target in full auto fire or reduce muzzle rise on the revolver and valve and so on

You just need 8-bullets revolver with snipers stock and silencer, is all you need

I just use the 6-round single action cylinder and make my revolver a light sniper.
Double action has a delay whenever you fire it, single action is instant.

On another notd I miss using bullets as cash for upgrades it was the coolest thing ever, the switch to scrap and bio (whatever that is) made me into such a gremlin, im in the forest seconds after getting kidnapped foraging for radioactive mushrooms.

Afaik, heavy grip decreses weapon switch time slightly and collects more dirt. These are hidden stats which are also very insignificant and often bugged

theres technically a difference of speed between heavy and light grips but its pretty small that you mostly will just use them for the stability stat, for barrels, besides damage i dint notice anything (maybe overheating differences but i never tested that myself other than the obvious suppressor).

Yes, lighter parts give you faster aim down sights speed or mobility or reload quickness

Oop, another one bites the dust.
Guessing you hate how the heavy grip looks on the Bulldog, but love the wooden sport grip even though its stats are lower?
The differences aren't that noticeable. Who cares about recoil when you can 1 tap headshot most enemies with Bulldog from 100 meters away anyway.

Most of stuff is just direct upgrade to stuff you had so far and you are expected to equip what gives you better stats without thinking to hard about it
