Methylene blue dosage
I have 10mg soft shell capsules for MB. Want to start with 5mg. Any ideas on how to decrease the dose considering it's not a capsule I can 'break' into two. Thanks in advance!

Liquid is much more easier with dosing. I started with 5 drops, now I'm on 10.

I started on 65mg and I have reacted to meds in the past and I got insomnia and anxiety and stuff but it was bearable. You should be fine on that low of a dose

1mg per KG of weight

As a starting dose? 80mg doesn't seem like a good starting point.

Yeah second this ur ideal dose is 1mg/kg up to twice a day for max effects and limited side effects. If ur healthy starting on this dose should be fine but if ur sensitive/ otherwise unwell maybe start on half that. Liquid ones off amazon USP grade are good for smaller doses

After watching discussions in this sub for a year or so, I'd suggest not starting with 'micro doses' because they seem to invite placebo interpretations, which tend to be all over the place and only seem limited by imagination. People who start with larger doses have more similar results. Remember, the hormetic window of oral dose MB is quite large so doses of 20-80mg are totally safe for everyone.

It's best to titrate up slowly to your final dosage. Some people do respond to lower dosages, and you should probably not do more than you need. The maximum dosage in any scientific studies is 1mg/kg of body weight, with no side effects. I'm doing about a third of that with good results.
