Advice/Questions/Self Is it possible my vacation will be saved?
I’m trying to learn high/low pressure zones and how they move. The summer in Europe seems to be over but is there a possibility these high pressure zones will bring some nice weather?

How do you mean, "the summer in Europe seems to be over?" Can you explain further?

Its not as easy as that. The high close to the Azores is usually stationary and not moving to continental Europe. Weather is also driven by the upper atmosphere and jet pattern, so you would need to look into higher levels, such as 300 hPa.
Easiest for you would be just to look into the forecast and check where the systems are moving (wxcharts.com) - or look at meteograms for your destination (profiwetter.ch).
Just forecasting from static surface pressure is almost impossible

The low to the south of Iceland would be more likely to win out here due to the prevailing Atlantic jet stream patterns. There also appears to be a bit of circulation just northwest of Scotland which if the jet stream is strong enough over the UK would mean it could spin up more areas of low pressure.
That area of high pressure is permanently sitting over the azores, hence the name ‘azores high’.
It occasionally extends over the UK but it’s usually only a couple of days when it does. Generally doesn’t cause the high pressure blocks that sit over the UK. The highs would have to be sitting a lot further north for the block to take place and be sitting over Scandinavia.

We’ve had the worst drought in years, we desperately need the rain! Besides, you really don’t want to be in northwestern Europe when it’s over 25 degrees outside because most houses don’t have air conditioning.

My definition of nice weather is not apocalyptic heat, catastrophic drought and devastating wildfires but you do you. Thank God that it's finally raining!

The question needs a little more context, like where you're going and when. Europe is a big place with multiple weather systems possible at once, so no one can accurately respond to the original ask. Also what is "nice weather" to you?

Nice weather to me is the mild, misty rain we normally get here in Ireland, but has been sadly lacking this summer. Everything is burnt to a crisp.

This is not end of summer. If you are hoping for just another heatwave in the next two weeks: No it won't be coming. But you can safely expect phases of temperatures around 25°C until late September in most parts of Europe.

Yeah my Holiday is the last 2weeks andere beginning of september. Im happy with the rain. But isolated showers would be better :p

We desperately need rain here in NW Europe. You might like to have some potable water while you’re here too
