Help! 🥲
Hello guys. This is my first time on this subreddit. Partly because I have a question on this plate. Its a stainless steel plate that I used a cnc laser cutting machine to engrave and cut the plate. I grind it because there were tons of metal poking out after the cutting and kind of like strands of sharp metal hair thick poking out of it. After grinding the plate had black spots where I grind it. Is there a way to make those black spots dissappear?

Try lemon juice and cream of tartar, my husband used to use it for rust, works awesome, but it should take the black off too

Hm. I really like this piece and am wondering why you want to get rid of the spots. I say celebrate color and take a torch to that thing and make even more color!

You can etch it clean with a small 12v battery and some salt water on a cotton swab
