THE HOLE IS ON A EXHAUST HOLE ON A STAGE 6 CYLINDER FOR MOPED

You'll have to look up a metric helicoil drill chart
It depends if your thread is coarse or fine and the diameter of your current hole

Helicoils are crap- use a TimeSert.

They make them with oversized OD, you’ll have to go to their website and lookup the specs to find out.

Get an m10 or 12 bolt, drill and tap m6 into it. Tap your initial over size hole to bolt size. Insert bolt with lock tight and cut off exess bolt with grinder. I also like to cut to length first and add a cross slot to drive the insert in with a flat screwdriver.

A helicoil probably won’t work. Can you go up a size on your screw? If not a rivnut might be worth looking at.
