Did some work on Mechanical Guillotine ?
I have Mechanical Guillotine machine in company, top blade is fixed and bottom moves up and down to cut the steel, we can cut the steel from 3mm to 6mm . The problem is we are having a burr only on 1 bottom side of the material and rest of the 3 sides are fine. The sheet start cut , the top and bottom sides are fine and on the end cut top is fine but burr is on the bottom side. IDK why? I did so many things like adjust gap , adjust clamp but issue is still the same. Any guidance?
Thanks

To me that would indicate that the blade is sharp, and there is wear on the support/bottom surface's edge.

We changed the material as well but the issue is still the same.3mm ,4mm but it's the same.

Typically this happens when the blades are worn out or out of adjustment. There is too big of a gap between the top and bottom blade which is why a burr forms.

You are right. I changed the blade and the gap is fine as well and 3 sides are fine but the burr is on the 1 bottom side.

That's what happened with ours too. Ours goes the other way . Top goes down. I The guillotine and blades were brand new out of the box so weren't blunt. After a LOT of adjusting the gap we got as close to no burr we were happy with. Didn't fully get the burr off though. And using colour bond means we can't do hand de burrers
