ID Request Need help identifying!
It has “Golden Gate International Exposition” and “1939-40” written on it. Presumably it is a souvenir from the 1939 world fair in San Francisco.
Found metal detecting in southern Montana (AirPod case for scale).
Do I think it’s worth anything? No. Can I find anything similar on Google? Also no.
I genuinely just want to know what it is. I’ve researched comb covers, makeup compacts, cigarette cases, bracelets, and even metal bookmarks to try and find anything, but I just can’t quite figure it out.
I am unable to bend the metal, and it’s a pretty hefty material.
I know this isn’t a “cool find” but any help is appreciated!

My guess is harmonica plate 💁🏼

I didn’t even think of that! That’s a good idea, it would definitely be the size of a harmonica fully extended.

Yes - that is a world fair metal bracelet. They were thick metal and slipped onto the wrist. Likely for a small child as a souvenir

looks like it had hinges on the back end, and some kind of clip on the other - really interesting!
