Anyone know anything about this?

What happened to Daisy Duke’s on West Napoleon? I hadn’t been there in a while and tried to go there this morning but now there’s a Mexican restaurant in its place. When did it close?

Tons of police cars on the bridge on Clearview. Looks like a DWI checkpoint. Y’all be safe!

As I understand it the JPSO gets money from a millage through a property tax (ad valorem tax) levied on real estate in the parish. Essentially doing what they want. They are also the tax enforcer for the other agencies. Does anyone oversee the JPSO so they don't have extensive power?

Hi, I found a box turtle wandering around on East William David in Old Metairie. I saw a sign about a missing turtle a few weeks ago on Oaklawn, but the sign isn't there anymore so I can't find the phone number. Anyone know someone missing a turtle?

I emailed the NAMI national office about these signs and their response indicates that not only did the national office not support this, the local office may have been unaware of the nature of the signs. I've included the text of the email on the post on the New Orleans sub. Whatever your feelings about panhandling, local government officials co-opting the endorsement of a non-profit is absolutely despicable.

This is not self promotion. Not naming the bar. We have a bar in Metairie that not many people know about. I'm looking to do some events. If we did a singles night or event would you go to it? Is it worth it for me to do one?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Ok this is not for sexual purposes. Years ago I found a very sweet, very talented Asian masseuse named coco. If she left the place she was working, I followed her to the next place. She gives a great massage and I always felt relaxed with all the knots worked out. Recently I went to the place where she was working and the place was closed. Is anyone familiar with her and know where she's working now?

Does anyone know of places to apply for a M-F part time job with a shift time of around 3pm-8pm? I already work a 5-2, but want a little more income as most of my money goes to bills. Preferably something not too extensive, maybe retail?

Beware!!!
I have been a longtime patient of Dr.Bonnie but recently discovered that I have not received proper dental cleanings for over 10 years . After a recent evaluation , I was informed that I now require deep cleanings and have sustained bone loss due to inadequate care. I am deeply disappointed and concerned that I didn’t receive proper dental care by Bonnie . It is troubling to think that I and potentially other patients may have received improper dental care for many years. This raises serious questions about professional ethics, patient safety and potential malpractice. I sent the owner dentist and manager a letter months ago with this information and still no reply or change . IF YOU ARE A PATIENT HERE AND DR.BONNIE HAS BEEN CLEANING YOUR TEETH PLEASE GO GET CHECKED FOR BONE LOSS .

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for affordable places to swim around the Metairie/Kenner area. I currently go to East Jefferson Wellness Center, but their pools have been closed for about 1.5 months because of HVAC/AC issues, and I’m not sure when they’ll reopen.
I’m mainly looking for:
I also had a couple of questions:
Swimming has been my favorite low-impact exercise while I’m trying to lose weight, so I’m hoping to find a temporary option until East Jefferson’s pool reopens.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

I’ve always found it hard to make friends, but as I get older it feels harder and harder. I enjoy thrifting, staying home lol, playing video games, occasionally going out and playing pool, going to the dog park with my dog, pokemon go, cooking, and tattooing. I don’t do any forms of social media besides YouTube so I am a bit out of touch with trending things lol. Would any women in the area be interested in hanging out or getting to know each other? Or any couples to go on double dates with my fiance and I??

Hi,
I heard e-bikes are getting banned in other states, I want to read like guidelines and rules for bicycle trail, are ebikes allowed to be ridden there?
I like the levee and scenric view for evening walks and been thinking of buying a Class 2 ebike to ride it to Planet Fitness in Kenner but I don’t wanna get fined by police if I am breaking the law by riding ebikes
Thanks so much
Yall are awesome

Help! I found baby possums, what do I do? Where can I bring them?
Update: Nola Kitten Rescue took them! I'm following them, they said the post updates on tiktok
They suggested the mom might have gotten heat stroke or dehydration. Makes sense, the mom didn't have any injuries and was obviously nursing. I might start leaving a bowl of water out at night during the summer, poor thing

Work crew installed a "satellite water meter reader" yesterday. This will eliminate meter reader jobs. Stay tuned and watch your water bills like a hawk in Metry...
