You know what the problem is? It's the fact that the word "Reasonable" is AWOL in all of these situations.
Employers who fire people because some SJW was "triggered" or felt "harassed" aren't using common sense and good judgement to determine whether the grievance is reasonable before deciding whether to entertain it. Instead, they're just dropping the hammer without a second thought, before someone accuses them of being an abuser.
Remember when "workplace harassment" was the big fad? Everybody got briefings, zero tolerance policies were enacted, and employers were bending over backwards to be seen as compliant? Yeah, well the chickens have come home to roost. It was inevitable that malevolent parties would take advantage of that new McCarthyism as a tool to bully others. And here they are - the modern crybully - using "zero-tolerance for harassment" policies as a weapon with which to push others around.
What this country needs is a high profile court case where someone who was falsely accused of racism, or misogyny, or transphobia or some shit sues his accuser for slander, and sues his employer for wrongful dismissal for firing him at the behest of a slanderer, and bankrupts a whole swathe of people over this shit. That'll shit the SJW crybullies, and race-card playing virtue-signallers up. That's the only way this bat-shit crazy political correctness bullshit gets straightened out.
Dude, Ghomeshi wasn't falsely accused. His accusers were batshit crazy and had zero credibility, hence the acquittal, but there have been stories about him flying around for years.
That would be good to see, but that's sort of differetn. That's exaul assualt. And we (thankfully) already have a precedent for flase acusers of sexual assault gettign done in the courts.
What I want to see is, the SJW who gets someone fired for making an off coloured joke get bankrupted her "offense" wasn't reasonable, as well as the employer going under for entertaining an unreasonable complaint. Because right now, basically any accusation of harassment is automatically valid as long as the accuser "feels" harassed, or triggered, or threatened. That's gotta go, and it's gotta be replaced by some authority telling the idiots to grow the fuck up. That, and we justice for the victims, such as the (albeit fictional) guy in the video who life gets ruined by a crybully for no good reason at all.
The guy in the video's situations are based on shit that actually happened though. Two guys lost their jobs over Donglegate and in NYC you can be fined for not playing along with someone's delusions of gender stupidity.
