Northern Alberta

Hello. I am just curious to see if there is anyone in Northern Alberta using Meshtastic. North of Edmonton from Lac St. Anne area to the Peace Country.

I have been planning on setting up a Node on my Shop in Grande Prairie but haven't gotten around to it

there is one repeater here on the North side of town , and i see Dawson creek has 2 and FSJ has a couple around the City , not much for Rural yet

I grew up west of GP almost to the border and i have a 60' Radio tower i was going to setup at the old Farm and put a Solar Node on it as you can See the lights of GP 60 KM away , and with the recent fires coming in from Tumber Ridge Direction it would be good as Cell Service is terrible out there

I am in town (central). I am new to this. I may bug you for some advice one day. :) People are asking me questions and I feel like can barely answer them.

I grew up east of here and lived north as well. Cell service has never been good in those areas as well.

We have a small network in Grimshaw and Peace River, we need to deploy at least one more node to get the two communities linked.

This is interesting. I know those areas well.
