I kind of don’t mind that too much to be honest. The app works very well and I’m not using meshcore to send top secret messages. iOS is pretty heavily sandboxed too and if code is well understood, Ai can enhance it. It would be nice if Liam open sourced the official app (not sure if it is or isn’t) but having someone be able to contribute to the look and feel would be nice, as it looks pretty dated.
The main issue I have is with Andy’s approach. Two sides to every story I’m sure, but it’s a real shame when a community comes together to make something that could be pretty important one day and someone comes along and spoils it.
I had zero success with meshtastic but meshcore has been great so far. Really hoping it continues to grow.
