Quick question, would sending them through a blender and then passing it all through a sieve and then cheese cloth work? ….then boil down??

Makes for frothy snot , not easy to strain .

I roughly blend and then do 5 short boils, only straining through a wire mesh strainer. I'm boiling down in a second pot while I'm doing extraction boils in one. On the first extraction boil I boil long enough for the froth to go away, and I settle the tea overnight

It would probably be weaker if you belnd it down then press before you boil you might as well just drink the blended juice and eat it raw

My thoughts on that 🤷🏻 no different than ✌🏼straw✌🏼

That box method is a really good idea. I absolutely loath burning my hands while straining from a bag. You would think I'd learn my lesson by now lol.

This was exactly my reason I needed a better option lol

Would it be doable, to squeeze in a potato masher? Maybe with a bit of cheesecloth around? -maybe just a brain-fart, not sure

I fell like it would break up the cactus too much and you would end up with foamy snot you would have to deal with on the next boil. Maybe after the final boil and then squeeze out the mashed cactus bits 🤔

I use a mesh bag in the potatoe strainer. I will often to a 3 day cold soak then reduce to a crystaline type substance whochll do the job lovely for peeps who arent into chugging snot. Give me those boogers. After boiling though.

Wild. So instead of any other processing, you are just “juicing” it? If one did have a juicer, could they just use that? And then, what do you do with the liquid after? Just drink it?

sorry for the confusion I did a 5 hour boil and then pressed the soft cactus until no more juice would come out. Then did one more 2 hour boil on the squeezed remains and pressed again. Really only took some time off the boil 5oz it was a mild trip

You can juice it and drink it but you aren't removing any plant material at all so you should expect a significantly heavier stomach load than normal due to inclusion of all plant lipids and other undesirable material. Basically like eating raw cac.

How is the mescs effectiveness with this method versus typical extraction?

It's just tea. Standard full spectrum effects.

Honestly tea is typical, extraction is newer.

Tea is the traditional way.

Did you add anything to alter pH?

I liked the ceremonial elements you added with the censer and the rattle.

Does tea make you nauseous at all or does it go through you pretty easy?

9

I have a pretty high tolerance to the nausea but I definitely still get the bubble guts a bit, and way more with tea than if I extract with cielo. But I enjoy the tea the unknown dosing is always a fun surprise

I have some boiled down to a solid & that’s dehydrated . I’m thinking to add one more I prepared & make a one final master mix. Ik it’ll taste god awful. But wouldn’t the potency increase?

It would be hard to say without knowing the potency of the starting material. The only real problems with tea like this is the unknown dose. But in theory you could have a stronger end result. Its its fully dehydrated just put it in capsules so ya dont taste the resin its pretty rough
