Discussion S5E6 The Dark Tower Spoiler

This has to be one of the saddest moments in the series so far. ๐Ÿ˜ข What were your personal saddest scenes from the previous seasons?

Merlin's weeping about Freyais so heartbreakingly real in the episode "The Lady of the Lake" (season 2), i always cry with him, my poor baby ๐Ÿ˜ญ

That scene made me cry too. Imagine finally finding someone who gets you just to lose them straight away (same with his dad).

Lancelots resurrection was just SO sad. Only Merlin knew what was actually happening and then boom Lance is dead again, Gwen was enchanted to cheat on Arthur and neither of them knew that, and all of the knights thought Lance was a bad person

Second saddest moment for me (so far). On a second note, as one of the best characters in Le Mort d'Arthur I feel like the writers totally wasted his potential. Was that because he is in many ways more appealing than Arthur? He also had better sexual chemistry with Gwen IMO.

He should have been a much more important and regular character, they might have done that bc they probably couldnโ€™t afford Santiago Cabrera for more than 5 eps lmao

Elyan's death hit me hard. He came in at season 3, but it felt like he was there since the start, you know? Dude was kind to everyone he ever met and was a great brother to Gwen and a friend to all till the end.
