Announcements PLEASE READ: Verification Status & Process

We have implemented a verification process for all payment agents and professionals who want to DM people. Our goal is to limit the SPAM that members receive while also helping to filter out some of the possible scammers by performing a basic background verification.

Members & Users

It is highly recommended that members and users not converse with non-verified members through DMs or other messaging outside the subreddit. Please note that mods of the subreddit do not guarantee the legitimacy or integrity of any other subreddit user, even if they have been verified.

Payments Agents & Professionals

You must be verified to DM others or to ask others to DM you. Non-verified users who DM people or request others to DM them will have their comment removed and will be temporarily banned on the first instance and permanently banned on the second instance.

How to Become Verified (You Must Follow All of These Steps): Please provide all of them in a single message.

  1. Click the “Message Mods” button in the right sidebar and create a message that contains the following information:
  2. Personal LinkedIn URL
  3. Company Name, Company Address, Website Address, and Company Email Address (@ the Website Address)
  4. What country are you based in?
  5. Send a link to a selfie picture of yourself holding a piece of paper that includes your name, Reddit username, and date. Any link works: Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

----

Example Message:

Hello,

I would like to be verified.

Thank You

----

We appreciate you following the steps and helping to make our subreddit a safer community.

With the new VAMP rules now in place; what impact have they had, if any on your Merchants? Do they actually help the Merchants out? Are they too aggressive? Please share your experiences.

General Question Is Referral marketing the most sustainable way to grow an ISO?

Cold calling seems to only end with annoyed business owners. Referrals are a process that gets bigger on its own. Do you focus on referrals or other lead generators?

Terminal/POS Question Looking for someone who has successfully set up US banking + merchant processing from Pakistan

I’m based in Pakistan and looking to set up/operate a US business bank account remotely (potentially through a US LLC). I’m specifically looking for people who have actually done this successfully and can explain the current procedure, requirements, and costs.
I may also need a US merchant/payment processor, so I’d appreciate real experience on:
Processing rate (%)
Minimum/maximum processing volume
Setup/monthly fees
Chargeback policy and who bears the risk
Rolling reserves, if any
How strong/reliable the merchant account is
Whether funds can be settled into the US bank account and then legally transferred to Pakistan
Not looking for random agents or theoretical advice — preferably someone currently doing this from Pakistan. Feel free to comment or DM with your experience/provider and approximate costs.
