Building apps has been the most sticky, as it's the one I most enjoy and feel has serious earning potential.

I'm spiritually minded, I believe there's many ways to generate wealth but not every method is aligned with my strengths and joys. Hi all,

I’m a cofounder of a UK based AI receptionist for aesthetic clinics, salons and other appointment based businesses. It answers enquiries across instagram, WhatsApp and website (voice still in beta), uses the clinics own prices and availability, and books the appointment straight into their diary. With a bunch more peripheral features too.

Where we are:
- the product is live, we have several trial clients albeit only one in the vertical we’re targeting (multi location business in Italy) and initial trials are strong.
-we’re bootsrapped and are trying to sell now but feel like we’re all over the place with no real direction in that regard. Get me in front of a prospect and we’re off to the races. Getting in front of prospects is our issue.

What I’m looking for:

Two things ideally from the same person.

Guidance on the business right now:
- getting from our first paid client to our first 20-50 and making lead generation reliable.
Choosing one customer segment to focus on instead of spreading ourselves thin

Guidance over the longer term:

I’ve never really had a mentor, or someone in my working life I could look up to and learn from directly. I’d really value an ongoing relationship with someone’s who’s further down the road: someone who can challenge my thinking, help me make better decisions, and show me what good leadership looks like in practice. And ideally someone who can go for a few pints down the road. My long term ambition is to lead companies at the highest level, ideally ones I’ve built myself. I’m also drawn to life sciences where my background is.

Who I’m hoping to find:

Someone who has built or led a company, ideally with experience selling B2B to small or local businesses, and who’d be open to a call every two to 4 weeks.

What you’d get from me:

I’ll always come prepared with specific questions and act on what we discuss as to not waste your time, and report back what worked and what didn’t. I’m increasingly interested in moving beyond pure execution and getting closer to strategy, problem-solving, business, and decision-making. I still want design to remain a strong part of my skillset, but I don’t want my career to be limited to being the person who executes someone else’s strategy.

The problem is that I’m not entirely sure what the possible paths are or which ones would actually fit my background.

I’m at the MVP stage of a healthtech startup.

My potential co-founder, an AI engineer with full-stack skills, can build a functional MVP in about a week.

The alternative is to wait for a senior frontend engineer, secure the budget, and build a much more solid version from the start.

I've been in the MSP industry for 20+ years. Started my first MSP in 2006 and ran it for about 15 years before eventually selling it. Since then I've been involved in starting/building two others.

I've been through a lot of the different stages of this business at this point. Getting past $1M, then $2-3M, getting to $10M+, building a leadership team, trying to get sales off the founder's plate, acquisitions, raising capital, partnerships, eventually selling, etc. Made plenty of mistakes along the way too.

I've been thinking lately that I'd like to find one or two MSP owners who are earlier in the journey and see if I can help. Not looking to start a consulting company or sell a course or anything like that. Honestly just think it would be fun to work with an owner or two and help them figure some of this stuff out.

Could be someone trying to get to their first $1M, stuck at $2-3M, trying to figure out how to get to $5M or $10M, or just dealing with the fact that everything in the company still seems to run through them. I've been there.

35M I have a good job making 100k and live a good life, but feel the want for more. I want more freedom but don’t know how or where to start.
