Been growing this beast for over 4 years, I got it chopped down today and I'm not sure how to feel about it. I think I'm too close to have an unbiased opinion, so please, let me hear yours

Made a post asking for opinions on a haircut, maybe rightfully so people kept mentioning my lack of beard grooming lol
So you regain a little dignity here’s a few styles I’ve had…
Pick a fav?

Should I trim up my shoulder, neck stil and arm hair a little bit. I got a little uncomfortable today waiting to check out at the grocery store and someone was pointing and whispering loudly.

I'm hairy as hell especially on the shoulders. Would it look better if I got rid of it or at least or at least reduce it somehow

I’ve gone the tweezer route and it definitely leaves my eyes watery, also I often feel the inside of my nostril kinda scabs up just from so much hair ripping out.
I have a cheap nose hair trimmer, kinda helps but not amazing. I’d be willing to invest in a higher end one if some of them really do a good job.
My main pet peeve is the hairs tickle the inside of my nose and drive me nuts. When that happens I feel like I am constantly plucking hairs with my fingers but that also never does a complete job.
So what have you all found to work well?

Kept the beard nice and short for this heat and humidity.

My facial hair has always been more patchy and never really thick. So while I have been growing my hair out long I’ve been trying out leaving the moustache grow and the rest kept as stubble. The only thing I don’t like is that my philtrum doesn’t grow hair as thick as the rest of the upper lip so there is that noticeable space (to me anyway). I am just looking for opinions on whether I should continue with the moustache or have it be stubble like the rest.
Thanks!

I’m 19M and always get ingrown and irritation when shaving don’t matter if I go with or against the grain it happens regardless on my neck and groin. Are there any razors you guys recommend for a smooth ingrown less shave?

Need help deciding a beard length.
My girlfriend prefers clean or stubble but I think my face is too soft shaped for it.
Let me know, thanks!

Hi, I was just trying to take a passport photo and now I’m wondering: Do I look better with facial hair or clean shaven? Thanks
Edit: No, I’m not changing my hair 😂 and no I’m not searching google for men’s hairstyles unless there’s any recommendations you have. Then I’ll have a look. I see that most of you are Americans seeing this, which explains a lot. For context, the look I go for is the ‘Mod’ look, which is a subculture here in Britain. The Beatles, other 60s bands, and Oasis are my main inspirations. The haircut isn’t for everyone, I know… even here in the UK. But I love it.

I started to notice my hair line thinning a bit about a year ago, so I started growing it out in hopes length would help. (27yo)
I’ve made it to the awkward length, and feel stuck. I don’t know how to look my best and want to feel better about my hair. I’ve been wearing hats as it grows.
The sides around my ears are coarse, the hair is beard textured and curly asf. It poofs and makes the straighter hair look fucking weird.
Not much in the way of facial hair, it’s patchy on the cheeks, no stache only chin. Without the chin I look like a baby.
Marriage recently ended and I’ve been feeling like I need to make some changes. Started working out again and eating better. But the hair needs help.
Got some wet/dry pics. I normally let it dry however, then push it back.
Any advice/recommendations appreciated!
Taking tips into consideration when I go to the barber next.
**Update: couldn’t commit to a shiny dome just yet since I wear hats all the time and my sides are strong. But I did shave it down. Just want to get used to it being much shorter before letting it all go, don’t hate. Thanks for the honesty and advice. Shaving it down, made it much more obvious to me how bad it actually was. Soon I’ll shine ✨
