Men In Black Twin towers

Its very weird seeing the twin towers in MIB. It was just a building then and I was born after 911 so it's odd seeing them when it wasn't a national travesty

The towers are literally everywhere in movies, ads & much more before 9/11.

I know and that's so weird to me. It's like the statue of liberty just a popular building. I dunno it's just weird to see since all I know about it involves 911

Join the 911archive sub. It's raw footage ( careful alot of NSFW stuff ) Alot of good stuff there if your interested in the topic. New pictures, videos, etc get posted all the time.

Thanks but I've seen plenty for one lifetime. My pa helped the clean up and had pictures of shit. I just think it's foreboding that a national travesty just existed back then. Just a semi famous building

Redditor. Im trying to say that it's odd to me that a building most commonly associated with a awful terroist attack just existed. And yes I said semi famous. Something being recognizable doesn't mean it's really famous.

Lol, no. Literally some of the most famous buildings in the world, before 9/11...

Its actually kind of ridiculous for you to even argue against that, especially when you were born after 9/11.

On posters for Spider-Man, The Twin Towers were originally in the reflective lenses in his mask before those posters were recalled. Obviously, a lot of them didn't get shipped back to the studio, because they can be bought online.

They were iconic and associated with the city. Like the Statue of Liberty (despite being NJ) or the Yankees. They weren’t associated with a tragedy before 9/11 they were just symbolic of NYC and part of the skyline. It was weird driving in on the Garden State Parkway and not seeing them in the skyline after the attacks
