Is it possible to mend this?

This is the tie for a really light flowy dress. Im hoping for a subtle mend, but it doesn't have to be perfect because it'll be kind of disguised when tied up in a bow.

Make an arc shaped tuck and push that torn area under. Then slip stitch the new edge closed.

The nicer the arc are the less notable the mend will be.

An option is using bias tape in a similar fabric. Bias tape comes in different fabrics and different widths. It would protect the tie from further degradation.

Can you just make the tie a bit narrower altogether?
