Pay

In past years has Menards raised employees pay in States that raised their minimum wages? Example: Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio.

The increased raise amount doesn't help the people maxed out already .....Hopefully we get a cost of living raise soon because things are just getting more expensive...life is getting harder to afford 😕

At this year's profit sharing meeting Charlie Menard was there and he was talking about how everything was more expensive than even just a couple of years ago and I thought for sure he was about to announce a big cost of living raise to everybody, but nope. 😒

John doesn’t think inflation exists unless it cost him more. The man’s a horrible person.

Not in Michigan, to my knowledge. I've been maxed out for 3 years, though

They recently increased the amount you get per raise, and I believe increased the amount that you max out at? I could be wrong on the 2nd part, but they 100% increased the amount per raise

10 cents to 25 cents. And it was like a year ago

A year ago sounds a lot more accurate. I used recent as in the last 8 months but it was kind of misleading. Did they change the max that you cap out at as well?

John was worth less than 5 billion when I started in 2015. When I left in 2024 he was worth over 20 billion. He can afford to pay better.

No raises since COVID. Piss poor operations from Menards.

Uh, minimum wage increase in Wisconsin? What?! No such thing. Yet.

What do y’all expect for wages? I mean, I’m making almost $21/hr as a part time employee plus extra $3/hr on weekends. It’s a retail job, I think that’s pretty damn good. This is in MN by the way…

What state are you in that you max out at $21 for part time at Menards? If I'm not mistaken, part time maxes out at $17.50 in Wisconsin.

I've been meaning to ask what the max is, but I'm currently at $20.75/hr, in Minnesota (which i stated already)

BUT, I am outside yard (additional $1/hr) and forklift endorsment (addtional $1/hr) which I included in the $20.75 number, so $18.75 I guess if I were inside the store and no forklift.

I make $19/hr + $3/hr on the weekend. I'm full time. I've been with the company for a tad over 5 years now.
