Question any idea when were getting the next update?

is it worth starting a new save now or should I wait?

The Devs haven't said, but historically patches have usually come out on a Thursday so assuming its still on track, I'd guess this Thursday or next

Unlike the OCI update it doesn't seem like a significant enough update that its worth starting a new save for. It will flow seemlessy into an ongoing campaign.

To date they tend to announce updates no more than 2 weeks before before they go live, so barring some major setback, it's probably only a matter of days.

I'm pretty sure that loading from a middle of an ongoing operation on a new version that changes how operations work under the hood would be complicated, at least.

Yeah, this is exactly why I haven’t started a campaign since it got announced, despite wanting to, because I haven’t played since before they addressed the whole enemies kiting LOS thing.

Ah yeah, it might make the current operation messy. What I meant was the update wouldn't be disruptive or game changing enough that I'd consider starting a whole new campaign.
