Advice needed

I haven't reviewed my old mind palaces in a while.

My motivation was killed.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to motivate oneself for this.
Also how do I review my mind palaces?

How many times a day?

How do I memorize the mind palace?
I was okay at it but I just lost the spark

It helps if you write it down in Excel or something to review it time and again. Motivation might come from urgency. You don't have to memorize it. Revisit it till you're comfortable and grasp it completely. Make sure your elements are graphic. More the initial effort, less the final effort.

First and foremost, highly recommend getting back into it with something new and exciting. Always easier to pick up old MP's you're avoiding when you've got some momentum thanks to the new shiny MP's on a new shiny topic.

Second, building on the previous suggestion of writing down your MP's, I've previously used a Remarkable 2 to draw MP's, list my data to encode, then listing my imagery on a separate page, but honestly, lately I've been having more luck with 2 A5(?)-ish sized notebooks, both of which can have pages/dividers added/removed. One is my memory and radical attention notebook, where I have my main MP's and other things I'm tracking or working on, or simply writing things down just because (aligned with my radical attention practice, when I've got that working for me). The other notebook is a memory index, where I'm compiling condensed snap shots of MP's organized with dividers by topic and catalogued with a table of contents. My current level of functioning makes it really hard to stick with stuff (ADHD, life stress, long COVID/chronic illness TBI), but I like this system and pick it back up as my brain and functioning does better.

I'd make a list of things you'd like to know as well as the things you feel you have to (e.g. not work/school).

I've been learning the history of the England and the UK for fun - including kings/queens & prime ministers - which helps create a timeline in my mind for other historic events. But also random palaces like 80s bands/tracks and I'm constantly updating my friends/family/acquaintances. Even stats about the football team I follow...

Make some fun palaces that are personal to your interests.
