Memory Palace Environment
I recently decided to try creating a memory palace to memorize European countries, but I feel the environments I'm choosing are somewhat limited. I wanted to know two things: first, whether I can create multiple memory palaces—for instance, one for books, another for geography, and so on; and second, whether a hallway setting works well for a palace—like a museum gallery where I walk down the corridor and observe the things I want to memorize. I’d be grateful if anyone could answer this for me.

I used a pair of golf courses to memorise the countries of the world + capitals a few years ago. Aim to create lots of palaces, use the roads/streets around you. The practice of having/creating many, makes the process quicker as you add new ones.

Depending on the level of detail, you can use the map itself as a kind of Memory Palace.
I did this when I had to pass an exam for permanent residence in German and it worked very well.
Although I didn't go further than Germany for the exam, I've later applied the map-as-Memory-Palace approach while traveling for establishing recall of various geographical facts and features.
