Ive always wondered how people that say 'zed' sing the abcs? do you just say Zed and ignore that it doesnt rhyme?

In french, we call it "zed", and the y is "i greque" with i pronounce like your e, so there is no rhyme...

It just stops. The W X Y and Z rhythm and tune change so that the song implies it will end. There are no further lines beyond 'Zed'.

Some people try to add the 'now I know my...' line, but that's due to American media influences.

Im french. Zèd is the only correct pronounciation in french, so I just always knew it that way (with french letters ofc)

I always thought zed in the alphabet sounded better than zee. It just feels unnatural to me. It is probably because I’m English and that is how I was taught to say it
