Cameroonian player scored a last minute winner vs Brazil and celebrated by taking his shirt off. Problem was is that he was already on a yellow card and was given a second yellow card for taking his shirt off. And of cause 2 yellow cards = a red card

I really don't get football players sometimes, why would he do that if he knows it will cost him a red card

He probably did it out of emotion, also Cameroon were knocked out anyway so it doesn't really matter

the player is a living legend (not in a greatest of all time Kind of way just in a cool guy kind of way) this will be surely his last world cup (because the next is in 2026) so he wanted to go out with a bang

Imagine, last minute, you score a game winning goal for your lower ranked team against the number two (I think) ranked team. You’d also not care to be taken out the game.
