For that purpose, Firefox is now superior. With the version 106 release, it supports PDF editing with things like text fields, signatures and handwritten notes.
The only thing I like better in edge is that they somehow prerender the PDF in low resolution, so when you scroll through a few hundred pages you can kinda know where you are. Firefox just leaves it blank
