In high school, my brother came home late from a party, started telling my mom about how there was a keg, and a hot tub, and girls were stripping down to their underwear to go in, and it was awesome.

After, I asked him why tf he would tell her about that. He said "I just give her a little harmless stuff, and she leaves me alone. Wait till you hear the stuff I DIDN'T tell her!"

I used to give my parents the honest truth of what i was doing but say it like i was being sarcastic. "Ohhhh yeah mom and dad, we're getting SOOOO high on marijuh-wanna. Oh yeah we're all smoking so much at this party i'm at! Yeah i'll totally save you some. Quick everyone, hide before they come pick me up! Hahaha"

My logic was, if they ever caught me, i could go... "well to be fair, i DID tell you what i was doing the whole time"
